On 28th June, 2025, the Route 360 Solutions Initiative Team, through the Re-afforesting Freetown City (RFC) project, planted 800 trees in the Grafton, Leicester, Malama, and Regent communities. Community leaders, youths, older people, women, volunteers, children, media reps, bloggers, and partners came out in numbers to support and grace the tree-planting day, ensuring that all trees are successfully planted in the designated areas of each community. A big thank you to the Global Greengrants Fund for funding the project for this year; we also thank the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy for co-funding the project.
