Route 360 Solutions Initiative Officially Launched in Freetown City, Sierra Leone

On April 25 2024, the Ghanaian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Mrs. Worwornyo Agyeman, the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Democracy 98.1 FM journalists, engineers, Fourah Bay College students, parents, colleagues, and other members of the public joined our team to officially launch the Route 360 Solutions Initiative in Freetown City.

The ceremony started with an opening prayer by Sarah Tarawally, our Community Outreach and Engagement Representative, followed by a welcome address by Amza Turay, our Brick and Paver Engineer, recognizing the presence of our audience, who left their busy schedules to grace the occasion.

Our Founder and CEO, Joseph Turay, shared his personal story and how it inspired him to found the Route 360 Solutions Initiative in April 2021. Our COO, Alusine Hassan Bangura, introduced our team members and their roles and responsibilities, while our Business Development Representative, Mohamed Kickende Kamara, talked about the plastic pollution crisis in Freetown City and Sierra Leone.

Amaz Turay and Samuel Sheriff, also our Brick and Paver Engineer, presented our product test results from the Gento Group of Companies lab, emphasizing our bricks’ durability, water resistance, and other unique features that make them stand out in the market compared to their traditional counterparts.

We thank the Ghanaian Ambassador to Sierra Leone and all those who honored our invitation. We also thank our partners — Catalyst 2030, Conservation Leaders Network, and EcoManka — for their support in making this a reality.
