A Collective Milestone: Route 360 Solutions Initiative Officially Launched in Freetown City, Sierra Leone

On 25th April 2024, the Ghana Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Mrs. Worwornyo Agyeman, SLBC and 98.1 FM journalists, engineers, FBC students, parents, colleagues, and other members of the public joined our team to officially launch the Route 360 Solutions Initiative.

The ceremony started with an opening prayer by Sarah Tarawally, our Community Outreach and Engagement Representative, followed by a welcome address by Amza Turay, our Brick and Paver Engineers.

Our founder, Joseph Turay, shared his personal story and how it inspired him to found the Route 360 Solutions Initiative in April 2021. Our COO, Alusine Hassan Bangura, introduced our team members and their roles, while our Business Development Representative, Mohamed Kickende Kamara, talked about the plastic pollution crisis in Sierra Leone. Amaz Turay and Samuel Sheriff, also a Brick and Paver Engineer, analyzed our brick test results, emphasizing their durability, water resistance, and other key features.

We thank the Ghana Ambassador to Sierra Leone and all those who honored our invitation. We also thank our partners—Catalyst 2030, Conservation Leaders Network, and EcoManka–for their support in making this a reality.
