Route 360 Solutions Initiative is excited to partner with Patriots Against Corruption Sierra Leone (PAC-SL) to implement the Re-afforesting Freetown City project in the Grafton, Leicester, Malama, and Regent communities.
PAC-SL is an NGO empowering young leaders to promote development in Sierra Leone while at the same time reducing corruption. Over the years, the organization has organized several programs in its areas of focus to achieve its vision. Through this partnership, PAC-SL will join the Route 360 Solutions Initiative’s team to plant 800 economic trees in the project communities above.
PAC-SL will also engage members of the Re-afforesting Freetown City project communities to abstain from and help combat environmental corruption-related activities in their communities, especially deforestation.
Corruption can affect the environment in so many ways that community members can also be involved. That is why our partnership with PAC-SL will ensure that the Re-afforesting Freetown City project communities’ members are encouraged not to engage in any act of corruption, particularly those that will affect their communities.
We are elated about this partnership and hope to achieve positive things through it. We thank and appreciate the PAC-SL Executive Director, Mohamed K. Turay, and the rest of his team for the opportunity given to the Route 360 Solutions initiative to partner with their organization.
