Route 360 Solutions Initiative was recently featured by the Sierra Leone News Agency. The Sierra Leone News Agency, recognized for informing the general public about current happenings in Sierra Leone, shed light on the Re-afforesting Freetown City project community engagement at the Grafton community that took place on 8 March 2025, sensitizing over 50 locals on afforestation, reforestation, and deforestation.
The news agency highlighted various aspects of the engagement, including the event’s chairperson, Elijah Edwin, the keynote address speaker, Alusine Hassan Bangura, and the speakers, Sallieu Barba Kamara and Sulaiman Barrie — Founder and CEO of Sierra EcoHeat, a business that transforms coconut shells and sawdust into eco-briquettes, promoting clean cooking in Sierra Leone.
The agency also threw light on the Route 360 Solutions Initiative’s aims and objectives, and the willingness of the Grafton community members, including the Grafton community Secretary General and Chairman, to support the Re-afforesting Freetown City project during and after its tree-planting, commencing between June and July 2025.
Special thanks and appreciation to the Sierra Leone News Agency’s team for recognizing our efforts and contributions towards a positive change in Sierra Leone. In addition to the recent features by Sierraloaded and Technify Africa, we are excited about the recognition by the news agency, as it shows that the world sees the amazing work we are doing at Route 360 Solutions Initiative. We look forward to such opportunities in the future.
