Route 360 Solutions Initiative has been shortlisted for the 2023 Young Innovators Award by the World Summit Awards (WSA). With WSA focus on local digital innovation with a positive impact on society, the WSA Young Innovators Award recognizes young people below the age of 26 years, employing ICTs to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The shortlist comprises 29 projects from 20 different countries, including the Route 360 Solutions Initiative from Sierra Leone and 28 other projects from Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, India, Lebanon, Nepal, Peru, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Austria, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, and Germany, among others.
Our team is proud to have represented Sierra Leone and the African continent in this prestigious international award. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to employing innovation to address some of the most pressing challenges our country and continent face in the 21st Century. We are looking forward to making it to the next stage of the 2023 WSA Young Innovators Award.
