Route 360 Solutions Initiative Made it to the Hult Prize Global Competition Incubator

After securing the first runner-up position in the Hult Prize Japan National Competition in April this year, in June, Route 360 Solutions Initiative was officially invited by the Hult Prize Global Committe to participate in an online review and interview to secure a spot in the competition’s incubator. Represented by our Founder and CEO, Joseph Turay, and his partner, Gifty Delbright Aggor, Route 360 Solutions Initiative successfully passed the online review and interview and made it to the incubator, joining 89 other startups from different universities across the world. 

Joining the incubator provided Route 360 Solutions Initiative the opportunity to continue represent the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in the competition. The incubator in the third out of the five phases of the competition. During the incubator, Joseph and his partner were assigned a mentor with diverse experience in housing sector to support the participating in that particular phase of the competition. 

The incubator is designed to improve the pitching and communication skills of the qualified teams of that stage. Every week, Route 360 Solutions Initiative was participating in pitches while receiving feedback from experts from around the world on its targeted problem, solutions, impact, business model, and scaling strategies amongst other areas. 

The incubator was eye-opening for our CEO and his partner, as it enable them to identify gaps in our innovation, improve their communication skills, learn from experts, and discovering new strategies to strengthen our work at Route 360 Solutions Initiative. 

After the incubator, 20 teams will be selected to participate in the competition’s accelerator in the United Kingdom, where eight outstanding teams will be selected to compete in the finals. We wish Joseph and his partner all the best for the remaining parts of the Hult Prize Global Competition.
